We’ve carefully selected topics for this year’s Equipped for Mission sessions that reflect both the perspectives of the pastors and lay leaders, while at the same time reflecting the vision and direction of our diocese.
These sessions for lay leaders are designed to inspire, challenge, and equip you with the tools needed to drive meaningful change in your parish.
Our topic this month will be: Conversion in Modern Culture.
This session is meant to offer a summary outline of the basic principles of Catholic morality and how our moral life is rooted, not merely in a code of ethics or a set of rules, but profoundly in the Person of Jesus. We’ll discuss some of the major moral issues we face in our society today, and equip those who teach the Faith — whether youth ministers, catechists, Catholic school teachers, etc. — with the tools to establish a sure foundation for right moral thinking, both in themselves and in those to whom they minister.
This is more than just professional development—it's a movement towards a shared vision that will energize your parish and elevate our collective mission.
We’re excited to have you on this journey with us!
We are looking forward to your participation and the dynamic conversations ahead.
We will be meeting at the Rejoice in Hope Center on Wednesday, November 13, from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
